Senior DevOps Engineer
Axveer is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and operate the cloud-native infrastructure that powers our clients' platforms. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and developer experience. You will own CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters at scale, and drive infrastructure-as-code practices that make deployments reliable and repeatable. You will work closely with software engineering teams to reduce friction across the delivery lifecycle — from environment provisioning to production observability. If you thrive in complex, distributed environments and take ownership of infrastructure the way engineers take ownership of code, this role is for you.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure (or equivalent) using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Own Kubernetes cluster operations — deployment, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Implement and maintain network architecture, DNS, load balancing, and container security controls
- Drive automation of environment provisioning and operational workflows using Bash, Python, or Go
- Establish and improve observability practices — logging, metrics, alerting, and dashboards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and reduce deployment friction
- Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate infrastructure automation and operations workflows
- 7+ years of industry experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles
- Experience with cloud platforms — Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes — deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, and cluster management
- Strong proficiency with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tooling
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or Go
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and container security
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and GitOps workflows
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) and agentic workflows
- Experience with service mesh, GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Flux), or platform engineering patterns
- Familiarity with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Experience with agentic orchestration, harness engineering, or automated development pipelines
- Remote-first role
- Collaboration with distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones
- Async-first communication with structured overlap for team ceremonies and reviews
This role requires clear communication and strong collaborative instincts to work effectively across engineering and product teams in a distributed environment.
- Articulating infrastructure decisions, trade-offs, and operational risk to engineering and product stakeholders
- Collaborating with developers to improve delivery workflows and shared platform standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills applied to complex infrastructure challenges
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication across cross-functional teams
